The Commonwealth of Virginia has designated Kissito Healthcare as the Program of All-inclusive Care for the Elderly (“PACE”) provider in the Roanoke, Virginia market. PACE will enable Nursing Home Certified Elders to remain at home and be cared for through Home Based and Adult Day Care services. As a capitated economic model, Kissito will provide comprehensive physician/IDT case management services with a fully integrated EHR. Elders will encounter dramatic increases in both access and time with their physician. PACE enrollees experience over 50 percent less hospital days and over 90 percent less SNF/NF days.
