BUSINESS MODEL: By offering the same services under a SNF license as LTAC/IRF providers Kissito has a significant price advantage in its US operations. Kissito is an attractive Post Acute alternative for Medicare and Managed Care payers purchasing services based on price and outcome. Kissito Post Acute facilities and units have private rooms with hospital like amenities attracting patient populations opposed to receiving Post Acute care in a traditional nursing home setting. Kissito's international hospital model is based on the establishment of medical training facilities in connection with the hospital to promote skilled local staffing. Kissito acts as the hospital construction manager resulting in significant cost savings. Through its global affiliates Kissito is able to attract skilled doctors and nurses to work in remote areas lacking basic health services.
